I’m sure by now you’ve at least heard about Instagram fitness entrepreneur, Katy Hearn, and her supplement company, Alani Nu. If not, no worries. I’m going to introduce you to and discuss a couple of the products today!
First off, let’s talk about the company itself. On their website it says their mission is to help Alani Nu customers succeed in their fitness and wellness goals. They have eliminated “negative ingredients” and fillers from their supplements, and carefully created flavors to ensure each product is delicious. Everything is made in the United States in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certified facility, which basically means that all of the products are under strict quality control. So far, so good, right???
The Pre-Workout is made to maximize your workout. Like the container says, it aids in energy, endurance, and pump. Each scoop contains 200mg of caffeine derived from coffee, 200mg of L-Theanine derived from green tea, some Beta-Alanine, L-Tyrosine, and L-Citrulline Malate. If you’re like me and have no idea what these ingredients do, let me quickly explain. After a little research I found out that Beta-Alanine enhances your workout by increasing exercise capacity and decreasing muscle fatigue; L-Tyrosine aids in improving mental performance, alertness, and memory; and L-Citrulline Malate is a naturally occurring amino acid that is changed to nitric acid in our kidneys, which in turn lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow. The ingredients list also includes a bit of Turmeric Extract and Beet Root Extract. It is vegan and gluten-free as well!
I really enjoy taking this pre-workout supplement! It actually does what it says it will. It increases my energy during workout sessions, and it definitely gets me sweating, tingling, and burning more calories! The taste is amazing as well. So far, I have tried Hawaiian Shaved Ice (my fav!) and Mimosa. The other flavors all sound amazing and I can’t wait to try more. Right now, there’s even a limited edition flavor called Witch’s Brew, just for the spooky season! So, if you’re in the market for a new pre-workout supplement, definitely try this one out! I highly recommend it.
Next let’s talk about the Collagen + Hyaluronic Acid powder. This stuff is all about the skin! It promotes healthy, youthful, and smooth skin by reducing fine lines and wrinkles, as well as firming and hydrating. It is gluten-free, but not vegan, as it contains collagen peptides derived from the hides of grass-fed bovine. Each serving also contains a little over 18g of protein. It is clear and tasteless, so you can put it into just about any drink without it altering the taste. I will say, however, I recommend putting it into a smoothie or shake, or even a warm drink, as it can stay a little clumpy in cold or room temperature liquids. I love to blend it up with Califia Mocha Cold Brew Coffee with Almond Milk and a little ice!
But let me tell you, incorporating collagen into your supplement routine works! With the help of collagen and a good skincare routine, I no longer have to worry about my foundation and concealer creasing or cracking in the fine lines around my eyes and mouth, because they’re completely gone! Overall, my skin is just healthier looking. Now I just need to tackle my breakouts with some Balance supplements, which help support hormonal balance, weight management, complexion, and fertility. I did take Balance for a month or so sometime last year, but consistency is key and I was not consistent at all with them, so I can’t really give an official opinion on it yet. But I will say, these magical little capsules have 4.9 out of 5 stars, with almost 7,000 reviews, so I think that speaks for itself.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a new brand of supplements, give Alani Nu a try. I love the fact that they do not add fillers to their ingredients, and that they make their product right here in the US in a GMP certified facility. Also, nothing beats their flavor selection. Overall, they make some good stuff, and if I were you, I’d try out letting Alani Nu help you reach your fitness and wellness goals!
Also, I just wanted to say, I am not being paid, nor am I earning rewards of any sort from this post about Alani Nu. It is simply my opinion on the product.
